In White Lotus, Mipham Rinpoche shows that all of the Buddhist inner tantric teachings are condensed within the Seven Line Prayer. Quoting many sutras and tantras, Mipham first reveals the prayer’s outer literal meaning, then it’s hidden meanings according to the view of Secret Mantra, the generation and completion stage practices, and the practice of Dzogchen Tögal, and finally it’s meaning according to the maintenance of the Dzogchen view and ultimate accomplishment. In this way, by practicing the Seven Line Prayer according to any one of these tantric trainings, the result of one’s practice will be attained.
