Chotrul Duchen – Buddha Shakyamuni Practice & Shower of Blessings Tsok Offering

We will celebrate Chotrul Duchen by practicing the sadhana of Buddha Shakyamuni and performing the Shower of Blessings tsok offering. Chotrul Duchen is the 15th day of the lunar new year known as the “Great Day of Miraculous Manifestations,” one of the four main Buddhist holidays of the year that commemorates Buddha Shakyamuni’s display of miracles in order to increase the devotion and merit of disciples and prove the truth of the Dharma to non-Buddhists. It is considered so auspicious that any merit accumulated on this day is said to multiply many millions of times.
