Dear Dharma Brothers and Sisters,
By now you might have heard the very sad news that one of the true holders of the Palyul lineage, H.H. Tulku Thubten Palzang Rinpoche, passed into mahaparinirvana on the 10th of January, 2021 at his residence in Chengdu, China. He remained in thugdam for three days. His Kudung (holy body) was then escorted to Palyul Monastery where it was received by H.H. Kuchen Rinpoche, Yangsi Rinpoche, and the monastic sangha. The holy Kudung is enshrined in the main temple, and pujas are offered every day, presided over by Kuchen Rinphche, Yangsi Rinpoche, tulkus, khenpos, and the monks and nuns of Palyul monasteries. This will continue until the cremation day on February 3, 2021.
To show our respect, receive the blessings, and confess, repair and renew our samaya with Rinpoche, Palyul Guru Lhakhang is organizing pujas and prayers daily and weekly. Because of the pandemic, we cannot congregate to offer our prayers, but we welcome you to join live on Zoom and Faceboook (details below):
